Call for Proposals: Avian Nutrition, Wellness and Conservation Grants

Harrison’s Bird Foods is pleased to announce a call for proposals for grants in the field of avian nutrition, avian wellness and avian conservation. This grant opportunity aims to support research and conservation projects that contribute to the understanding and promotion of health, nutrition, conservation, and overall well-being in avian species.

Focus Areas:

Proposals may address but are not limited to the following focus areas:

- Nutritional requirements for different avian species

- Effects of diet on avian health and wellness

- Behavioral and environmental factors influencing avian nutrition

- Innovations in avian feeding practices

- Impact of nutrition on avian reproduction and growth

- Avian conservation including issues related to wild avian nutrition

Eligibility:

- Researchers, scientists, and professionals in the field of avian health, conservation, and nutrition are eligible to apply.

- Individuals or teams from academic institutions, research organizations, non-profit organizations, and government agencies are encouraged to submit proposals.

Grant Details:

- Grant Amount: up to $50,000 per project 

- Duration: 1 year or less

- Funding is intended to support research expenses, including materials, equipment, and personnel costs.

Proposal Guidelines:Interested applicants are required to submit a detailed proposal including the following:

2. Authors

3. Organization name(s) If applicable

1. Project Proposal (3 pages total)

1. Abstract (~250 words)

2. Background and significance of the study

3. Research objectives

4. Methodology

5. Expected outcomes and impact

2. Budget and timeline (2 pages total)

1. Project timeline

2. Budget

3. Budget justification

3. CV for the individual or the team (3 pages maximum per CV)

Selection Process:
