Announcement: ZWNF/NAG Conference Aug 24-27th 2025

The ZWNF/NAG Conference Program Subcommittee would like to send out this first of many announcements.

2025 brings NEW timelines

You may have seen our save the date, but we want to make sure you add to your calendar that our conference will take place August 24-27 of 2025 in Kansas City, Missouri. Our conference will be held in conjunction with AAZV/ZooVets. Our meeting will begin on Sunday with a workshop, included in our registration. While we are still finalizing the plans for an engaging workshop, we want to make sure you plan to arrive on Saturday to participate in the workshop Sunday morning. Also Sunday evening will be our ice breaker with AAZV/ZooVets. After a diverse and exciting program, we will end the evening on Wednesday with our banquet.

IMPORTANT PLANNING CHANGE

We anticipate earlier deadlines for the paper submission for 2025! The beginning of 2025 (end of February) will be the deadline rather than May.

We are coordinating these deadlines with AAZV/ZooVets so we will share those soon. We encourage everyone to submit papers for an oral presentation or a poster.

Some suggested topics of interest would be milk microbiome, hand rearing experiences, vitamin/mineral nutrition, weight management, body condition scoring, realistic expectations for body mass, forages and browse, geriatric nutrition, clinical cases, comparative nutrition, sustainability/resilience/supply issues, and nutritional welfare.

We are very excited to be planning our program and be able to share and collaborate with all of you next year.
