Malcolm Ramsey Memorial Scholarship – Field-based Nutrition Research

Eligible students must present nutrition research findings related to field research of free-ranging animals. 

Susan Crissey Memorial Scholarship – Nutrition Research on Captive Animals

Eligible students must present nutrition research findings primarily from human-managed animal populations.

Duane Ullrey International Student Award

To support international student travel to the symposium for students residing and attending school outside of North America.

To apply for a travel award:

Students must be enrolled in or accepted into a degree-covering institution. Students must register for the Symposium, provide a CV, an abstract for a poster or oral presentation, and a cover letter explaining why attending and presenting at the CNS Symposium will enhance their educational and career goals.

Abstracts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format. Figures need to be in JPG format only. Tables must be made in Word and NOT in JPG to allow for formatting. All numbers should be decimal-aligned in tables.

Bursary Supporting Underrepresented Students

The Board of Directors of the Comparative Nutrition Society (CNS) has allocated funds to encourage participation at our biennial Symposia by students from groups underrepresented in our membership. Eligible students must either reside in or are citizens of countries outside of Europe and North America or are persons of colour within Europe or North America. Bursaries will include refunding the student registration fee and $500 US to assist with travel expenses. Up to two bursaries will be given.
